John O. "Zeke" Trulson
HAVRE - John O. (Zeke) Trulson, 64, Havre, a retired railroad track
inspector
and former Kremlin resident, died
Dec 4 at a Havre Hospital after a
cancer-related illness.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Holland & Bonine
Chapel in
Havre with Father Jack Harrington
officiating.
A memorial Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St Judes Catholic
Church
with Father Jack Harrington
officiating.
Inurnment of ashes will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mr Trulson was born March 24, 1928 in Havre, the son of Del and
Ida(Sohm)
Trulson. He attended school in
Fresno. The family moved to Kremlin where he
attended School. He graduated fron
Kremlin High School in 1946. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1952 he
went to work for Great Northern Railway
and later Burlington Northern
Railroad. He was employed by the railroads 33
years.
In 1954 at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Hingham, he married the
former Lorraine Gomke. After their
marriage the couple lived in Kremlin. In1986 the couple moved to Havre, and
purchased the Tip-It Bar in North Havre.
His hobbies included fishing and his love of fireworks, which he shared
with
his children and grant-children.
He also played drums in Havre with different bands and in many Hi-Line
areas.
He was also a member St Judes Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife of Havre; his mother, Ida Trulson of Havre;
daughters, Lindy Scofield of Havre;
Cynthia Lee of Stevensville and Teresa
Echelard of Havre; two sisters,
Remona Beck of Mesa, Ariz. and Bev Heitert of
Havre; and four grand-sons.
Memorials may be sent to the Gift of Life, c/o Columbus Hospital, in
Great
Falls.

at a
Havre Hospital.
A rosary was recited Tuesday evening at Holland & Bonine Chapel in
Havre,
with Father Jack Harrington
officiating.
A memorial Mass was said Wednesday morning at St Jude's Catholic Church
in
Havre with Father Jack Harrington
officiating.
Bural was in Highland Cemetery with military honors.
The organist-soloist was Regina Gabriel. She played and sang "Be
Not Afraid,"
"The Lord's Prayer" and,
at the cemetery, "May The Angels Lead You Into
Paridise."
Ray Miller played "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" and
"Till We Meet Again" on
the saxophone.
Alter servers were Joby Walker, James Gormley and Julie Hanson.
Honorary pallbearers were all of his many friends.
United Veterans Honor Guard members were Commander Mark Whalen; Jack
Yates,
Cal Burr, El Quiring, Leonard
Thackeray, Ralph Colier, Fay McDonald, Sandy
MacLean, Blair Paronto, Dick
Wieweck, John Hass, Vivian Tollefson, Bob Styber
and John Simko.
