William Edward Hay III
HARLEM -- William Edward Hay III, 28, of Portland, Ore., died Wednesday
at a Portland hospital of complications from testicular cancer.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service is 1 p.m.
Tuesday in Harlem Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of local
arrangements.
He was born Dec. 12, 1972, in Fort Belknap, and attended school in
Harlem, Zurich and Chinook. He moved to Portland with his father eight years
ago.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, music, skateboarding,
mountain biking, going to car shows with his father and fishing with his
grandfather. He loved animals and raised flop-eared rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea
pigs and fish.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexandria Stanley Hay of Gresham, Ore.;
his father, William E. "Butch" Hay Jr. of Gresham; his mother, Karen
Kay Hay of Sheridan, Wyo.; grandparents Bill and Betty Hay of Harlem; and a
great-grandmother, Lillian Lafountain of Washington state.

WILLIAM EDWARD HAY III
William Edward Hay III, 28, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at a Portland
hospital of complications from testicle cancer.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside memorial services were held at 2:00
p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Harlem Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Adams
Funeral Home.
Will was born at Fort Belknap Agency on
December 12, 1972. He was his father and mother's special man. He
attended school in Harlem, Zurich and Chinook. He moved to Portland with his
father eight years ago.
He enjoyed music, skate boarding, mountain biking, and spending time with his daughter, Alexandria,
going to car shows with his father, Butch, and fishing with his grandfather,
Bill. Will loved animals, he raised
flop eared rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish.
Survivors include his father, William E. "Butch" Hay Jr. of
Gresham, Oregon, and mother Karen K. Hay of Sheridan, Wyo.; daughter,
Alexandria Stanley Hay of Gresham, OR; grandparents Bill and Betty Hay of
Harlem; great-grandmother, Lillian Lafountain of Washington; aunts and uncles,
Nancy and Karl Mahns of Gresham, Charlie and Susie Hay of Rocky Boy, Carol and
Duane Klindworth of Hogeland, Tom and Becky Hay of Great Falls, Alice and Mike
Krelo of Riverton, Utah, and Jamie and Linda Kapp of Sand Coulee; 15 cousins
and 8 second cousins.
e was preceded in death by his grandfather, James R. Kapp, and
grandmother, Williametta (Billie) Hensley.
Will and God decided on this day to meet and become friends. God has a
special plans for Will as an angel for his mother, father, and daughter. At
night, you can look up in the sky and see Will's twinkling star. Will will be
remembered as a wonderful, sweet, caring man.
