Virginia A. Majerus

 

HAVRE -- Virginia A. (Campbell) Majerus, 64, a farm homemaker, died of cancer Monday at a Havre hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the family ranch in September. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook.

Survivors include her husband, Giles L. Majerus of Havre; a daughter, Deborah Hedstrom of Havre; sons David Majerus of Malta and Terry Majerus and Paul Majerus of Havre; brothers Virgil Campbell of Havre, Jerry Campbell of Savage, Minn., and Glenn Campbell of Chattaroy, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

She was born May 13, 1937, in Havre, to Charles and Elsie (Mathies) Campbell. She grew up on the family farm north of Havre and attended North Star School through the eighth grade, graduating from Havre High School in 1955.

She married Giles L. Majerus on Feb. 7, 1959, in Havre. They made their home south of Havre, where they raised their family.

She loved her flowers, the farm cats, sewing, and most of all, the family farm. She also enjoyed participating in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Parish or the donor's choice.

VIRGINIA MAJERUS

 

  Virginia A. (Campbell) Majerus, 64, died of cancer on Monday, July 9, 2001,  at the Northern Montana Hospital in Havre. Cremation has taken place and memorial service will be held at the family ranch in September. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Parish Center or to ones choice.

Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook.

  Virginia was born May 13, 1937, to Charles and Elsie (Mathies) Campbell and grew up on the family farm north of Havre. She attended North Star School through the eighth grade and in 1955 she graduated from Havre High School.

  On February 7, 1959, Virginia married Giles L. Majerusin in Havre and the couple made their home south of Havre, where they raised their family. She loved her flowers, the farm cats, sewing, and most of all, the family farm. She also enjoyed participating in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

  Survivors include her husband, Giles L. Majerus of Havre; daughter, Deborah Hedstrom of Havre; sons, David Majerus of Malta, and Terry and Paul Majerus of Havre; five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Amanda Hedstrom, Justin and Jennifer Majerus, and Jenna Majerus; three brothers, Virgil Campbell of Havre, Jerry Campbell of Savage, MN, and Glenn Campbell of Chattaroy, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Barney and John Campbell; and one sister, Marian Leamer.
