VIRGINIA BRANDT

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Virginia Brandt, 68, died of cancer Sept. 17 at a Kirkland, Wash., hospital.

Services were held recently at Bothel Funeral Home in Bothel, Wash.

Virginia Cross Brandt was born in Rudyard June 21,1919.

She was married to Edwin Brandt June 6, 1938.

She loved to play the piano and organ. She played in a dance band many years on the Hi-Lne.

Her parents and an infant son preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; Sons, Merle Brandt of Bothel, Wash. and Jerry Brandt of Seattle; a daughter, Phyllis Southweli of Seattle; sisters, Florence Johnson of Chester, Norma Jewett of Des Moines, Wash., Margie Gorder of Havre and Velma Johnson of Great Falls; brothers, Charles Cross of Rudyard and Donald Cross of Havre; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
