Services were Saturday it 2 p.m.
in the Holland and Bonine Funeral home for Mrs. Sylvia (Gummer) Hagen, 72, who died in Chester Feb 17.
Officiating at the funeral rites was
the Rev. Jack Rampelherg.
Pallbearers were Clarence Welch, Kenneth Engelbretson, Willis Cady, Del
Anderson, Arthur Morrison and Tom Gummer.
Mrs. Charles Griffith accompanied Mrs., Don Swinney who sang
"Beyond the Sunset" and "How
Great Thou Art."
Interment was in the Gilford cemetery.
Born in Buffalo, Kan., Aug. 5, 1898, Mrs. Hagen came to Gildford in 1912
and made her home In the area since that
time. She married Charles Gummer in Havre Jan. 3, 1916, and he preceded her in
death. In Hingham in 1959 she married
Jens Hagen, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Donovan Gummer, Chester, Thomas Gummer,
Spokane, Sivert Gummer, Butte, and Earl Gummer, Chester; 15 grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren. One brother and one son preceded her in death.
