Robert Gordon Teigen, son of Peter and Nora Teigen of Rolette, died of a heart

attack on the 28th of August. Robert, who had lived all his life at Rolette,

was only 20 years and 9 months old. He was born on November 21, 1933. He was

babtized on March 4, 1934 and confirmed at the Valle Lutheran Church July 24,

1949.

Teigen is survived by a brother Ole, and 3 sisters, Janet at home, Lorraine of

North Bend, Oregon, and Eleanor of Havre, Montana.

Funeral services were held on September 1 at the Valle Lutheran Church with

Pastor David Genter officiating. Pallbearers were Glen Armstrong, Arnold

Nelson, Eldore Gilge, Quentin Amble, James Gilje, and Kenneth Tastad.

Robert Teigen graduated from Rolette high school in 1953. He was a member of

the Valle Lutheran church and its Luther League and was an usher for the

church.
