=============================================================

   Robert Alan Reed, 43, passed away Thursday evening, Dec. 6, 2001, in the Deaconess Billings Clinic.
  Bob was born in Havre, Mont., on Nov. 23, 1958, to Robert J. and Helen Skones Reed. The family moved to Great Falls where Bob attended school, graduating from C.M. Russell in 1978.
  Moving with his parents to Billings in 1980, Bob completed a training program at the Vo-Tech Center. He worked several restaurant and maintenance jobs but his favorite and longest term was as a home health care attendant. His inherent kindness and concern for others made this work most fulfilling until his own degenerative disease took its toll and made it necessary for others to care for him.
  Bob lost his mother in October of this year. He leaves his father Robert “Bud” Reed of Billings; his sister Linda Reed of San Diego; brothers, Thomas and Mickey and nephew Christopher of Billings, another nephew, Brandon Reed, and niece Tammy Olds of Darby. In addition, he leaves dozens of cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws whom he loved and who loved him, especially Collie Shields his friend of twenty years.
  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Atonement Lutheran Church at Wicks Lane and Lake Elmo in Billings Heights.
