Robert Cramer

    Robert "Bob" Guettler Cramer, 82, of Missoula, MT, passed away Wednesday, No­vember 30, 2005 at St. Pat­rick's Hospital in Missoula.

    He was, born November 21, 1923 in Kalispell to Albert J. and Johanna M. Cramer.

    Bob entered the U.S. Navy in 1943 and was involved in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign, American Area, and the World War 11 victory.

    On September 14, 1947 he was united in marriage to Eunice Wilcox of Chinook. Eunice preceded him in death in 1996. Bob married Mamie Vasser on March 18, 2002 and lived in Missoula.

    After receiving his educa­tion degree and master's de­gree, Bob served as a public school teacher and school ad­ministrator in the states of Montana, Alaska, and Idaho for over 30 years.

   He played basketball at Great Falls High and the Uni­versity of Montana and was a lifelong golfer, bowler, avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted Griz fan.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Johanna, his brother Albert and his wife Eunice.

    He is survived by his wife Mamie of Missoula, his son Martin (Marty) Cramer and family of Genesee, Idaho, and sisters-in-laws Avis Wilcox Jamieson of Chinook and Elizabeth (Betty) Wilcox Ma­toon of Great Falls in addition to numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchil­dren, nieces and nephews in the Chinook area.

    Memorial services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bonner, MT.
