Richard A. Damschen

  MARTIN CITY - Richard A Damschen, 66, died of cancer Sun day at a Whitefish hospital.

Cremation has taken place.

  His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thes day at Austin Funeral Home Whitefish with burial in Fores Lawn Cemetery, Bremerton, Wash. later this week.

  Born in Fort Benton, he was rais ed and educated in Havre. He grad­uated from Havre High School in 1939. He was a World War II veter­an.

He married Ruth M. Keene in 1946 in Chinook. He worked at Navy shipyards in Bremerton, retiring in

1980. They moved to Martin City in 1982.

  Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mana Woolard and Jac­queline Widman, both of Tacoma, Wash. and Ginny Howard of Silver-dale, Wash.; sons, Robert McGraw of Tempe, Ariz., Gary Damschen of Hungry Horse, William Damschen of Silverdale and Jaimie Damschen of Bremerton; brothers, Roy of Havre, Robert of Big Sandy and Don of Poulsbo, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
