Robert H.Burldand,

    Robert H. Burkland, 61, died at a Havre hospital Friday.

   Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25 at the First Lutheran Church.

   He was born on June 25, 1919 in Great Falls. He served in the Army in the Second World War. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 32 years as an electrical superintendent, retiring in 1979.

   He married Katherine Garrison, July 9, 1941 at Tacoma, Wash. She died in November 1970.

   He married Ann ZahI in December 1973, and she died in March 1978.

   He married Lena Tilleman Sonnenberg in February 1979. He was a member of the Eagles, Veterans. of Foreign Wars and the Lutheran Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Lena; two children, Mrs. Orion (Roberta) Bostrum, Sidney; and James Burkland, Havre; a brother Carl, Great Fails; and two sisters, Ruth Briggs, Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Larry Odiorne, Oroville, Calif.

   A memorial to the Senior Citizens Center in Havre has been established.

ROBERT H. BURKLAND

   Robert H. Burkland, 61, died in a Havre hospital Friday and funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the First Lutheran Church.

   Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

   Mr. Burkland worked 32 years for the Burlington Northern Railroad and the Great Northern Ry. as an electrical superintendent. He retired in 1979.

   He was married to Katheryn 1 Garrison in Tacoma, Wash., July 9, 1941. She died, in November1970. December 15, 1973 Mr. Burkland and Ann Zahl were married. She died March 2, 1978.    He married Lena Tilleman.­Sonnenberg in Feb. 1979 in.

Reno, Nev. and she survives.

   SurviVors include tw’~. children, Mrs. Orlon~ (Roberta) Bostrom, Sidney and James Burkland, Havre; a brother, Carl, Great Falls, and two sisters, Ruth Briggs, Independence, Mo. and Mrs. Larry Odierne, Oroville, Calif. His principal hobby was woodworking and wood inlay detail work.

   A memorial to the Senior Citizens Center in Havre has- been established.
