Reinhold Herman Pankratz

  Reinhold Herman Pankrantz, 80, of 1304 19th St. South, a retired farmer, died

at home Thursday of natural causes.

  His funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with burial in

Manchester Cemetery. Croxford & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorials to Peace Hospice of Montana are suggested.

  He farmed in Harlem and Chinook area until 1955, he worked for Great Plains

Lumber Yard Supply for three years, then he continued farming near Manchester,

retiring in 1993.

  Pankratz was a 4-H leader and enjoyed gardening and home projects.

  Surviving are his wife of Great Falls; three daughters, Elizabeth "Betty"

Covely, Evelyn Deitz and Marsha Kline of Great Falls and Janet Marie Jenison of

Carthage, Mo.; six sons, Raymond and Vern Pankratz of Great Falls, James

Pankratz of Wilsall, Robert Pankratz of Helena and Jerald and George Pankratz

of Spokane; five sisters, Alma Billman and Betty Derbyshire of Havre, Ann

Kuebler of Saco, Stella Breitmeier of Harlem and Bertha Vian of Moreno Valley,

Calif.; 31 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
