Oscar Bachini
Oscar
Bachini, 82, died recently in a local hospital.
He was born
In Italy and came to the Havre area in 1908. He Worked for the Great Northern
Railroad from 1912 to 1967 as a pipefitter and sheet metal Worker.
He was
married in 1919 to Elia Bernardoni. She survives him at home along with five
children, Francis Bachini, of Havre; Mary Guza of Great Falls; Rose D'Hooge of
Havre; John Bachini of Havre and Irene Hanning of Havre; 18 grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and a brother, Vasco Bachini of Havre.

BACHINI, Oscar, 82, died Monday at a local hospital. Rosary will be recited at
7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Holland and Bonine Chapel and funeral Mass will be
Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery. Bachini was born in Italy and came to the Havre area in 1908. He
worked for the Great Northern Railroad from 1912 to 1967 as a pipefitter and
sheet metal worker. He was married in 1919 to Elia Bernardoni. She survives
him at home along with five children, Francis Bachini of Havre; Mary Guza of
Great Falls; Rose D'Hooge of Havre; John Bachini of Havre and Irene

Oscar
Bachini, 82, well-known retired railroad man, died on Feb. 22 in a local
hospital and r6sary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Holland and
Bonine chapel with funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Jude's Catholic
Church.
Interment will be
in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials
can be sent to a charity of
one's own choice.
Mr. Bachini
was born in Italy on July 20, 1899. He came to Havre in 1908.
He was
married to Elia Bernardoni in New York City on Dec. 26, 1919.
His wife
survives him as do sons, Frances and John, Havre; daughters, Mrs. Al (Rose) D'Hooge, Mrs. Irene Hanning, both of
Havre and Mrs. Mary Goza, Great Galls;
18 grandchildren and five great
grandchildren;; a brother, Vasco
Bachini, Havre.
Mr~ Bachini
went to work for the Great Northern Ry
in 1912 and retired in 1967.
He was a
member of the Sheet Metal Workers
International. Mr. Bachini was also a member of St. Jude's
Parish. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Funeral Mass
for Oscar Bachini was conducted in St. Jude's
Catholic Church Friday morning
with the Rev. Michael McHugh, S.J., officiating.
William Lisenby
was accompanist and Jane Estill sang, "Be Not Afraid,"
"On Eagles' Wings," "Lord's Prayer," "Prayer of St. Francis," "May
the Angels Lead You into Paradise."
Pallbearers were Mr. Bachini's grandsons, Kenny Bachini, Jim,
Bachini, Alan Bachini, Torn Guza, John D'Hooge, Mike D'Hooge and Michael
Bachini.
Ushers were
Bob and Dick Bachini, Steve and Steven Bachini were altar boys.
Interment
was in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials
can be of one's own choice.
