Nels Nelson Ulsaker died at his home in Brandon township Wednesday, December

3, at the age of eighty years.

Mr. Ulsaker was one of the early settlers in Douglas county, coming to

Brandon in 1867. He was born in Norway and on coming to the United States

lived for a time near Red Wing, Minn, where he married. Three children

survive him. The funeral was held from the Brandon church Saturday afternoon,
