Monica Conrad

Monica Conrad, 81; died February 15, 2005 at Northern Montana Hospital due to natural causes. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11 am. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Blame County Ambulance I.

Arrangements were by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.

Monica was born on August 11, 1923 south of Chinook on the Drewniak family farm and ranch. She attended country school at the Bean School.

Monica married Richard G. Conrad on May 14, 1942 in Chinook and they resided at the Conrad family farm and ranch. In later years she owned and operated a show store in Chinook. Monica enjoyed collecting, refinishing and selling antique furniture. She enjoyed cooking, baking at Christmas time, making photo albums, and gardening and loved having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her.

Monica is survived by daughter Kay and her husband B.J. Schellin of Chinook; son Richard M. and his wife Ardis Conrad of Chinook; brother Francis Bud' Drewniak of Grass Range; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard G. Conrad in 1998, and a sister Bea Kaldor.
