   Margaret Martha Oberg, 88, passed away in Seattle, WA on Sunday, August 3. 2003 following a very short illness. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 11th at the Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.

   Margaret was born to Malcolm and Della (Sly) McGillivray on November 10, 1915 in Minot, ND. On March 1, 1939 she married Sterling Oberg (son of Paul V. and Regna (Staven] Oberg) in Havre and they lived in Chinook for several years before moving to Ballard, WA (a suburb of Seat­tle) in 1952.

   Margaret was a good-natured person and loved going to the Ballard Senior Center, the Phila­delphia Church and Ballard First Lutheran. She really enjoyed visiting with people. Her family will greatly miss her, but they know the angels have taken her to heaven.

   She is survived by her husband Sterling of Ballard; a daughter, Luriene Winney of Alderwood Manor; a son, Mack (Judy) Oberg of Seattle; a brother, Gordon (Frances) McGillivray of Chinook; six grandchildren; 1 5 great grandchildren; plus numer­ous nieces, nephews and cousins.

   She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Benson and Bernice Magdahl; and a brother, William McGillivray.
