Marie 'Mary' Tilleman


 

 

   CHINOOK -- Marie "Mary" (Zich) Tilleman, 91, of Chinook, a homemaker, died of natural causes Sunday at a Chinook nursing home.

   Her funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sweet Nursing Home Chapel, with burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook is handling arrangements.

   Survivors include a daughter, Alice Johnke of Loveland, Colo.; sons William A. Tilleman of Cardston, Alberta and Arthur J. Tilleman of Zurich; a sister, Emma Preuss of Whitefish; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Tilleman on April 5, 2003.

   CHINOOK - Marie "Mary" Tilleman, 91, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at a Chinook nursing home due to natural causes.

   A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

   Mary was born on Feb. 5, 1912, in Grenfell, Saskatchewan, to William and Marie (Saunders) Zich.

   Mary married Arthur F. Tilleman on Nov. 27, 1930, in Chinook. She was active with her husband on their farm/ranch west of Zurich.

   Mary had resided in the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home since 1989.

   Mary is survived by daughter Alice Johnke of Loveland, CO; sons William A. Tilleman of Cardston, Ala., Canada; Arthur J. Tilleman of Zurich; sister Emma Preuss of Whitefish, 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

   Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur F. Tilleman on April 5, 2003; two sisters, and one brother.

   Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
