Obituary

Mrs D. Campbell, late of this village, whose death occurred on Friday,June 7th

was a native of Inverness Scotland. She came to this county when only six

years of age and with her parents settled in the Twp of Eramosa. In 1852she

was married to Mr D. Campbell and for 20 years they made their home in

Hanover. About seven years ago Mr Campbell died and was buried in Hanover.

Deceased had been ailing for over a year but bore her sufferings with great

patience. She leaves a family of 3 sons and 3 daughters to mourn the loss of

a loving parent. On Sabbath of last week her remains were interred in Hanover

Cemetery. Mrs Campbell was a consistent member of the Methodist church and was fully prepared to cross the dark river of death.
