Mamie Kuhn

STOCKTON - Mamie Kuhn, 98, of Stockton, formerly of Elizabeth, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1994, at Morgan Memorial Home in Stockton.

She was born Saturday. Oct. 17, 1896, in Thomson Township, to Frederick and Minnie (Brandt)

Koehn. On Dec. 8, 1915, she and George E. Kuhn were married in Schapville. He died Dec. 12, 1980.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Schapville.

A homemaker, she enjoyed baking.

Surviving are her son, Verne (Helen) Kuhn of Manhattan, Kan.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Hodgson of Freeport.

Also preceding her in death were two sons, one brother, one sister, two half brothers and three half sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Schapville with the Rev. Richard Dowling officiating. Bunal will be in Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Cemetery, Schapville.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Law-Jones Funeral home in Elizabeth.

A memorial fund has been established for the church.
