LEWIS W BRANDT DIES AT RUDYARD MONDAY

Louis W. Brandt. 49, 01. Rudyard, passed away at his home Monday afternoon. He had suffered a stroke last year and had been failing in health since.

Louis W. Brandt was horn Nov. 3, 1856. at EIizabeth, Ill. He came to Havre in 1910. and wcnt to Rudyard in 1911, remaining there until 1922, when he moved to North Dakota. After eight years he came back to Rudyard in 1930, living these ever since.

Surviving relatives include his wife and ten children, Harold, Edwin. Elmer, Unice, Loretta, George, Ruth, Cora, Lydia and Eugene; also his father, Fred Brandt. at EIizaibeth, Ill. five brothers, Henry of Dundee, Ill.. Ernest of Hingham, Gustav of Grass Range, Charley and Harry of Elizabeth; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Dostel and Mrs. Elizabeth Hoppe, of Elizabeth. One brother, Wilmar, had preceded him In death.
