Lorraine M. Cox

Lorraine M. (Beck) Cox , 75, of 124 18th Ave N.W., a former teacher, died of cancer Monday at Peace Hospice.

Her memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Cremation will take place under the direction of the O'Connor Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph B. Cox of Great Falls; a daughter, Debra Ann Binkley of Willis, Texas; a step-daughter, Sherry Rochelle Toves of Tacoma, Wash.; sons Robert B. Cox of Pensacola, Fla., and Terrance S. Cox of Bremerton, Wash.; sisters Florence Hamilton of Hogeland, Mont., Marjorie Cole of Riverside, Calif., and Gladys Morris of Baker, Mont.; and nine grandchildren.

She was born Sept. 19, 1928, in Havre and raised in Havre and Hogeland. She married Ralph B. Cox on Aug. 7, 1955.

She attended Northern Montana College in Havre, Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash., and the University of Hawaii. She taught school in Cut Bank; Great Falls; Rialto, Calif.; and the Philippines.

Lorraine was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed reading, making Christmas stockings and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mary Beck, and one brother, William Beck.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
