Yasuko "June" Ophus

BIG SANDY - Yasuko 'June" Ophus, 63, of Arvada, Cob., and formerly of Big Sandy, died of cancer at her home Dec.24.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rohrer United Meth­odist Church in Big Sandy.

Burial will be in Big Sandy Cem­etery.

Croxford & Sons Mortuary of Great Falls is in charge of ar­rangements.

She was born Jan. 29,1929, in Osaka, Japan, and married Vernon Ophus there Aug.11, 1953. The cou­ple lived at Big Sandy from 1953-1957, when they moved to Colorado.

They adopted three children, Tim Ophus, Kay Ophus Callahan and Kim Ophus. She sewed clothes for the children and enjoyed painting, bowling, playing cards and travel­ing.
