JULIA L. GRAHAM
CHINOOK - Julia L. Graham, 88, died Aug. 14, 1995, at a Havre Care
Center of
natuaral causes.
Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday Aug. 17, at St. Gabriel's
Catholic
Church. Mass will be recited at 11
a.m. Friday Aug 18, at in St. Gabriel's
Catholic Church, with burial
following at Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
She was born to Joseph and Julia (Wolfe) Mohar on Nov. 7, 1907, at
Cleveland.
She graduated from Harlem High School in 1927 and attended college in
Dillon
and Havre.
Graham taught for many years, mostly in rural schools in this area.
She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic church, enjoyed playing cards
and
also made many lovely crocheted afghans and doilies for her family
and
friends.
She married Kelso "Curly" Graham on June 20, 1936, at
Hogeland. Her husband
preceded her in death in 1979.
Graham is survived by three sons, Thomas Graham of San Rafael, Calif.,
William Graham of Oswego, Ill, and
John Graham of Lynnwood, Wash.; four
daughters, Pat Onstott of Helena,
Joanne Ariola of Havre, Karen Shanke Dooley
of Billings, and Mary Malsam of
Stillwater, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; seven
dreat-grandchildren; one sister, Jo
Irene O'Leary of Harlem; one brother,
William Mohar of Harlem.
Memorials may be sent to the Malachi House at St. Malachi Center, 2459
Washington Ave., Cleveland, Ohio
44113.

Julia L. Graham
CHINOOK - Julia L. Graham, 88, a retired teacher, died Monday at a havre
hospial of natural causes.
Rosary is 7 this evening and funeral Mass ia 11 a.m. Friday at St.
Gabriel's
Catholic Church, with burial in
Kuper Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are
suggested to St. Malachi Center's
Malachi House in Cleveland. Edwards Funeral
Home is in charge.
She was born Nov. 7, 1907, in Cleveland. She graduated from Harlem High
School in 1927 and attended college
in Dillon and Havre. In 1936 she married
Kelso "Curly" Graham in
Hogeland; he died in 1979.
She taught school many years, primarily in rural schools.
She was a member of St. Gabriel's Church and enjoyed playing cards and
crocheting.
Surviving are four daughters, Pat Onstott of Helena, Joanne Arriola of
Havre,
Karen Shankle Dooley of Billings and
Mary Malsam of Stillwater, Minn.; three
sons, Thomas Graham of San Rafael,
Calif, William Graham of Oswego, Ill., and
John Graham of Lynnwood, Wash.; a
sister, Jo Irene O'Leary of Harlem; a brother
William "Bill" Mohar of
Harlem; 16 grandchildren and seven
great-greatgrandchildren.
