DEATHS: Jane Thomas, 79, 426 Fifth Ave W., died at her home Saturday

JANE THOMAS DIES SATURDAY, PLAN SERVICES

Mrs Jace C. Thomas, 79, died at her home home, 426 Fifth Ave W.(Kalispell),

Saturday. She was born November 24, 1891, at Mayville, ND, a daughter of Morris

and Anna Gummer. She received her education and spent her early years in North

Dakota.

In 1919, she moved to Montana and taught in Hill County for some time. In

1920 she married Oscar C. Thomas at Havre. In 1930 the couple moved to

Kalispell.

Mrs Thomas was preceded in death by her husband June 11, 1953, and is now

survived by three brothers, Frank Gummer, Havre; Morris Gummer, Mayville, ND,

and William Gummer, Grand Forks, ND, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Johnson

Funeral Home.

MRS JANE THOMAS

Funeral services for Mrs Jane Thomas were conducted in the Johnson Chapel

Wednesday with the Rev John Lewis, Pastor of the Epworth United Methodist

Church, officiating. Interment was in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery with George

Darrow, Glen Shepherd, Louis Jensen, Ray Mather, Walter Ryder and Ben Seney

serving as pallbearers.
