WESTBY - Ingeborg (Kvarnstrom)
Ward, 94, a farm homemaker in the Westby community who was active in Pleasant
Valley Lutheran Church, serving as organist, Sunday school teacher, Ladies' Aid
and on the church council, died of natural causes Monday at a Chinook nursing
home, where she had been a resident the past four years.
Her funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at
Survivors include children Bernt Ward of
Plentywood, Ann Marie Gregoire and Marjorie Sapp of
Havre, James N. Ward of Columbia Falls and Linda F. Ward of Helena; 17
grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nels
Ward, on April 8, 1984; and children Vernice F. Mueller,
John E. Ward and Darlene K. Ward.

WESTBY - Ingeborg Ward, 99, of Westby died
early Monday morning, Aug. 14, 2006, at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook,
where she had been resident for about four years.
A funeral service for Ingeborg will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor
Barbara Westhoff officiating at the service at
Ingeborg was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and children, Vernice F. Mueller, John E. Ward and Darlene K. Ward.
Survivors include her children, Bernt (Arline) Ward of Plentywood, Ann Marie (Giles) Gregoire and Marjorie (Larry) Sapp, both of Havre, James N.
(Sharon) Ward of Columbia Falls and Linda F. Ward (Rick Neiss)
of Helena; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 12
great-great-grandchildren; nephews, Per Frederick Kvarnstrom
and Carl Gustav Kvarnstrom of Sweden; nieces, Ann
Marie Hemming and Britt Olson, of Sweden; and cousins, Art Hjelm,
of Mesa, Ariz., Vernon Hjelm of Casper, Wyo., and
Eunice Hjelm of Plentywood; and Eunices sons, Brock
and Brad. Fulkerson Funeral Home of Plentywood has charge of arrangements.
