Ila L. Morris

CHINOOK - Ila I. Morris, 85, a farm homemaker, died Sunday at the Sweet

Memorial Nursing Home of natural causes.

  A memorial service is 1 p.m. Monday in the nursing home chapel, with Edwards

Funeral Home in charge.

  Morris was born March 4, 1910, in Eden, Utah, and attended schools there and

in Harlem. She worked in the Harlem area until 1946 when she married William

Morris in Wolf Point.

  They farmed near Kooskia, Idaho, retiring in 1987. Her husband died in 1994.

She lived in the Sweet Nursing Home since 1989.

  Surviving are five sisters, Gladys Mummey, Verna Granger and Louisa Miller of

Harlem, Dorothy Swanson of Big Sandy and Florence Moon of Eugene, Ore.
