    Her memorial service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Chester.

    Johnson Mortuary of Kalispell and Whitted Funeral Chapel of Shelby are in charge of arrangements.
    Survivors include children Sharon Shepherd of Phoenix, Michelle Oswood of Great Falls, Tom Gummer of Billings, Donise Haddock of Dayton and Jackie Norenberg of Somers; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Donovan Elmer Gummer.

KALISPELL - Hilda M. Gummer, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Brendan House Nursing Home in Kalispell.

She was born April 8, 1918, in Chester.

She married Donovan Elmer Gummer on July 19, 1941.

A few years after Donovan passed away, Hilda moved to the Flathead Valley, then to Lakeside.

She loved quilting, gardening, and spending time with the kids and grandkids, and was a huge Seattle Mariners fan.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Shepherd, Michelle Oswood, Tom Gummer, Donise Haddock and Jackie Norenberg. She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the United Methodist Church in Chester.
