HELEN
TANGEN
Helen Tangen, 54, died Monday in a Great
Falls hospital and funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Zion
Lutheran Church in Chinook with interment in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery with
Edwards Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Worral, Wyo., and attended
schools in Harlem where she lived most of her life until moving to Zortman two
years ago.
She married Peter Tangen in 1948 in Chinook.
Mrs. Tangen is survived by her husband; two
sons, Tom and Perry, both of Zortman; a daughter, Karen Tangen, Havre; three brothers, George Kinzel, Twin Falls,
Idaho; Walt Kinzel, Lob and John Kinzel, Harlem; six sisters, Minnie Schafer,
Havre; Bert Donnis, Chinook; Sarah Wold, Missoula; Emma Rolag, Oak Harbor,
Wash.; Mollie Tangen, Harlem and Irene Winter, Great Falls and two
grandchildren

Helen
Tangen, 54, of Zortman, died June 13 in a Great Falls hospital. Funeral services
were held Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church in Chinook with burial in the
Kuper Memorial Cemetery with
Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook in charge of
arrangements.
She was born in Worall, Wyo. She attended
schools in Harlem, where she lived most of her life until moving to Zortman two
years ago. She married Peter Tangen in 1948 in Chinook and is survived by her
husband; two sons, Tom and Perry, both of Zortman; a daughter, Karen Tangen of Havre;
three brothers, George Kinzel of Twin Falls, Idaho; Walt Kinzel of Lob, and
John Kinzel of Harlem; six sisters, Minnie Schfer of Havre; Bert Donis of
Chinook, Sarah Wold of Missoula; Emma Rotag of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Molly Tangen
of Harlem. and Irene Winter of Great Falls; and two grandchildren.
