HAVRE -- Gloria Jeanne (McNeill) Sterrett,
65, of Havre, a former business owner, died of natural causes Friday at her
home.
Her funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fifth
Avenue Christian Church, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home of
Chinook is handling arrangements.
She is survived by her husband Larry Sterrett of
Havre; daughters Susan (Rob) Reid of Chinook and Shelly (Jon) Harmon of
Turner; grandchildren Thomas and Trevor Reid and Eddie and Jack Harmon; a
sister, Dolly (Duke) Pursley of Big Sandy; brothers
Dan (Sandy) McNeill of Chinook and Tom McNeill of Portland, Ore.; and
cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gloria Jeanne Sterrett, devoted wife, mother, and
grandmother died Friday, April 28, 2006. Gloria was born on Feb. 6, 1941, to Elgin and Dorothy
(Cooke) McNeill in Havre. She was raised and educated in the Bear Paw Mountains and in Big Sandy. She graduated from Big Sandy
High School in 1959.
She married Larry Sterrett on Dec. 5, 1959, in
Havre. She worked as a secretary at Buttrey's in
Havre and in the corporate office of Motor Parts Warehouse. Later she owned
and operated Havre Health Foods with her family. She was active on the family
farm, kept everything running smoothly, and kept everyone well fed.
Gloria was dedicated to her family and friends. She especially loved spending
time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, cooking
and especially spoiling her grandsons.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Stacee.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Gloria Jeanne Sterrett, 65, of Havre, devoted wife, mother and
grandmother, and former Havre business owner, died of natural causes at her
home Friday, April 28, 2006.
Her funeral

Gloria was born
Feb. 6, 1941, to Elgin
