FRANKLIN GRAHAN, RETIRED ORR FELT
WORKER, SUSCUMBS
Franklin Allen Graham, 77, retired Orr Felt and Blanket Company
Employee, died at 9:45 p.m.Wednesday at his home, 653 South Wayne Street, where
he had been ill for five years with a heart condition.
Born in Piqua, January 1, 1870, he was the son of Edward S. and Emma
Smithman Graham. He had lived in the city all of his life, attended Washington
township school and was a member of St. John's Evangelical church.
He retired from the blanket company when he was stricken with a heart
attach five years ago.
His marriage to Miss Charlotte Harris took place September 26, 1900.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Benning
(Frances), at home; three sons, Walter A. Graham of Buffalo, N.Y,, J. Edward
Graham of Zanesville, and Kenneth F. Graham of Piqua, a sister, Miss Lillian E.
Graham of Coronado, California; seven grandchildren and two great-granchildren.
The Rev. Simon Long will conduct services Saturday at 2. p.m. at the
J.C. Cron and Son's chapel with burial in Forrest Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be recieved at the J.C. Cron and Sons funeral home Friday
afternoon and evening and Saturday
