ELLEN MARIE (ELLA) GUSSENHOVEN
HAVRE - Ella Marie (Elle) Gussenhoven, 90, died at her home Wednesday
evening.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holland & Bonine
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kirby Nave officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Gussenhoven was born in Sioux Falls, S.D. Aug. 17, 1889 to Andrew
and Julia Anderson Nelson. She came to Montana with her family in 1913 to
homestead north of Havre.
On Dec. 20, 1918 she married Joseph J. Gussenhoven in Havre.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Eagles Auxiliary and had
been very active in. the church and the church choir.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Sohm of Kremlin and Maxine Dees
of Havre; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great great
grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, one daughter, Jean
Lyman; three sisters and two brothers.
Memorials in her honor may be sent to the Eagles Manor or a person’s choice.

HAVRE - Funeral services for Ellen Marie (Ella) Gussenhoven, 99, were
held at Holland & Bonine. Funeral Home July 22, Rev. Kirby Nave
officiating.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Organist was Bill Lisenby. So1oist Connie Conley sang “Just A Closer
Walk With Thee” and ‘How Great Thou Art.”
Pallbearers were Bill Nelson, Paul Sohm, Alan Dees, Brian Wilson, Elmer
Casady and Vic Kepper
