Dorothy Allen

    Former Peninsula resident Dorothy Marie Allen of Sumner died December 3, 2005 at age 73.

Born May 9, 1932 in Round Prairie, Minnesota to LeRoy and Ann (Moe) Leech, she moved to Sequim at age 13 and graduated from high school in 1950.

    She married Chester Allan Boardman of Hogeland, Mon­tana in 1951. They later di­vorced.

    After marriage to Howard Neal Allen, she lived in Mis­souri before moving to Sum­ner.

    She was preceded in death by husband Howard Allen and son Allan Boardman.

    Mrs. Allen's survivors in­clude son Neal Allen of Ta­coma; sister Angeline Rean­deau and brother and sister-in­law Jerry and Lolia Leech, all of Port Angeles; and brother and sister-in-law Calvin and Joy Leech of Port Townsend.

    Services were Monday, December 19`' at 1:00 p.m., memorial was in Powers Fu­neral Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave., Puyallup.

    Her cremated remains N~cre interred later at her mother's burial site at Mount Angeles Memorial Park,   U.S. Highway 101 and Monroe Road, Port Angeles, with a private serv­ice.
