Dorothea Bertling

Dorothea M. Bertling, 78, of 802 Brice Ave., Piqua, died Friday Aug. 12, 1994, at 7:28 a.m. in the Piqua Memorial Medical Center.

She was born in Piqua on April 3, 1916, the daughter of the late George and Alice Cron Bertling.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Walter Hughes (Mary A.) of Piqua; two brothers, Donald A. Bertling of Piqua, and Alan E. Bertling of Huber Heights.

One brother preceded her in death.

Miss Bertling graduated from Piqua Central High School.

She was a member of the Greene Street United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Piqua Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary.

She had been employed as a bookkepper at the former Barnhart-Firestone Co., Piqua, and wsa also employed at the former Lear Avia Co., Piqua.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, with the Rev. James R. Christy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
