YUMA, Ariz. - Delbert Lee McGuire went
to be with his Lord on Jan. 29, 2003, from his home in
He was born in Hoagland

He worked for the Bureau of Indian
Affairs, Flathead Irrigation Project, as the watermaster
in Valley View and Lonepine, and retired as the head watermaster in Pablo in 1984.
Delbert and Ida then spent winters in
He was preceded in death by his
beloved wife Ida in 1999; son Larry; parents Lee and Nelda;
three brothers, Donald, Lyle and Kenneth; and three sisters, Edna, Ruth and
Lula.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law Jerry and Vicki McGuire of Eureka; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Lorilie and Tim Holyk of
Polson and Yuma, and Patti and Gary Patterson of Polson; seven grandchildren,
April Sylte, Jeremy McGuire, Malynda
Zivkovik, Michael Holyk,
Leslie, Kalvin and Kyle Patterson; one brother,
Dwayne of Pablo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delbert loved to
hunt, fish, golf and help his family, friends and neighbors.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial
service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson on
Saturday, April 26, at

him in death.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Vicki McGuire
of Eureka, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorilie and
Tim Holyk of Polson and Yuma, and Patti and Gary
Patterson of Polson; seven grandchildren, April Sylte,
Jeremy McGuire, Malynda Zivkovik,
Michael Holyk, Leslie, Kalvin
and Kyle Patterson; one brother, Dwayne of Pablo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delbert loved to hunt, fish, and golf and help his

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. at the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson on Saturday, to be followed by
a private burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Ronan.
