Woman dies in rollover near Harlem
By JARED MILLER
Tribune Regional Reporter

NORTH OF HARLEM — A Turner woman was killed and her husband injured in a one-vehicle rollover Saturday afternoon north of Harlem.

Danielle "Dani" Snider, 37, died after she was thrown from a 1997 Volvo passenger car on Highway 241. Her husband, Scott Snider, also was ejected, but survived.

Danielle Snider's third-grade daughter was unharmed in the crash, said Blaine County Coroner Marvin Edwards.

The family was traveling to Chinook to watch a youth basketball game when the wreck occurred. The vehicle was southbound when it drove off the west side of the highway and struck a concrete traffic divider. The car became airborne, rolled and was upright when it came to a stop.

The driver, Scott Snider, was transported to Northern Montana Hospital in Havre. He was released Monday. Danielle Snider died at the scene. The child, the only one wearing a seat belt, was not hospitalized, Edwards said.

Investigators determined speed and alcohol were not factors; the cause is still unknown, a MHP spokeswoman said.

Danielle and Scott Snider were married on Nov. 12, 2005. Danielle Snider's maiden name was Stevenson.

Funeral services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Turner High School. A complete obituary appears on page 2M of today's Tribune.

The death brings the number of highway fatalities in Montana this year to 10
