   CHINOOK - Chester C. Schwenke, 96, died Oct. 1, 2004, at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home due to natural causes. 

   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, in the American Lutheran Church with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

   Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home.

Chester C. Schwenke      

 

   CHINOOK -- Longtime Blaine County farmer and rancher Chester C. Schwenke, 96, of Chinook, died of natural causes Friday at a Chinook nursing home. 

   Viewing is 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home. His funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday at American Lutheran Church in Chinook, with burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery. 

   Survivors include a daughter, Linda McFarland of Valier; a son, Charles Schwenke of Zortman; sisters Thelma Westberg and Olga Hoerner, both of Seattle; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Schwenke in 1993
