ELIZABETH SEEL

    MALTA - Elizabeth (Beth) Bigwood Seel, 70, of Malta, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at a Havre care center of lung cancer.

    A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Memorial Chapel. Burial of her cremated remains will follow the service at the Malta Cemetery.

    Beth was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Malta to Cecil and Edna (Robinson) Bigwood. She graduated from Malta High School in 1952.

    She married the love of her life, Elmer ”Duke“ Seel, in Malta on March 11, 1953. They resided in Malta and worked side by side at Valley Motor Supply until his death.

     Beth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer, on Sept. 17, 1989; and sister, Mary Lee Velk.

    Survivors include her brother-in-law, Rayburn ”Pete“ Velk of North Havre; sister-in-law, Faye Seel of Malta; nieces and nephews, Mark Velk (Kemi) Velk of Havre, John (Renι Enebo) Velk of Missoula, Lisa Velk (William) Buseman of Missoula, Laura Lee Velk (Curtis) Owen of Big Sandy, Charles ”Shorty“ (Donna) Seel of Bellevue Wash., and Terry Seel (Bill) Mosier of Deer Lodge; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews; and two great-great-nephews.

    Memorials may be sent to the charity of one's choice.

    Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.

    MALTA —Elizabeth "Beth" (Bigwood) Seel, 70, a retired bookkeeper, died of lung cancer Tuesday at a Havre care center.

    Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Adams Memorial Chapel with burial following in Malta Cemetery.

    Beth is survived by her brother-in-law, Rayburn "Pete" Velk, of North Havre; sister-in-law, Faye Seel, of Malta; and nieces and nephews, Mark Velk and his wife Kemi, of Havre, and their children, Travis (Alicia) Velk of Columbia Falls, and Kevin Velk, of Havre; John Velk and wife, Renι Enebo, and their children Jordan, Meghan, and Rachelle Stone, all of Missoula; Lisa Velk Buseman, and her husband, William, and their children, Lexie Buseman, Connor Panion and Carson Panion, all of Missoula; Laura Lee Velk Owen, and husband Curtis, and their children, Quartnee and Katie Owen, all of Big Sandy; Charles "Shorty" Seel and his wife, Donna, and their child Christopher, all of Bellevue, Wash.; Terry Seel Mosier and husband Bill, and their children, Greg (Joley) Mosier and Sarah (Chris) Mosier Ronnemose, all of Deer Lodge; and two great-great grand nephews Hunter Velk and Jacob Mosier.

    Beth was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Malta, the daughter of Cecil and Edna (Robinson) Bigwood. She graduated from Malta High School in 1952. She married the love of her life, Elmer "Duke" Seel in Malta on March 11, 1953. They resided in Malta and worked side by side at Valley Motor Supply until his death. Auntie Beth was a loving, caring woman who will be missed by all of her family and friends.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duke, on Sept. 17, 1989; and her sister, Mary Lee Velk.

    Memorials may be made to Peace Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.
