Bernice J. Magdall

 

  Bernice J. (McGillivray) Magdall, 89, of 112 Riverview Dr. E., a homemaker, died of natural causes Thursday at a local hospital.

  Visitation is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home. Her funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of Chimes, with burial at 9 a.m. Monday in Highland Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Victor Magdall of Great Falls; a son, Pat Magdall of Redmond, Wash.; a daughter, Margaret Oberg of Seattle; a brother, Gordon McGillivray of Chinook; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Hogland and raised in the Harlem/Hogland area, attending school in Harlem. She married Victor Magdall in Seattle in 1941.

  She worked numerous jobs in Washington state, including for Boeing. She moved back to Montana in 1957 and ran a gas station and motel in Fort Shaw until 1980, when she moved to Great Falls.

  She enjoyed cooking, baking and visiting with friends and family.

  Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
