Anna M. Miller

 

Anna M. (Groneberg) Miller, 81, of 1500 32nd St. S., a homemaker, died of natural causes Sunday at her home.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Chinook. Cremation has taken place.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita Doherty of Great Falls; sons Bill Miller of Bellingham, Wash., and Gene Miller of Great Falls; a sister, Margaret Simpson of Chinook; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and by her husband, Leonard "Shorty" Miller, in 1974.

ANNA MILLER

Anna M. Miller, 81, formerly of Chinook, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2001, in Great Falls from natural causes. Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook is in charge of arrangements.

Born on February 13, 1920, in Husum, Germany, to Frank and Elly (Mahns) Groneberg, Anna came with her parents to the United States in 1923 and attended schools south of Chinook. She worked as a waitress in the local restaurants. On December 27, 1941, Anna married Leonard "Shorty" Miller in Chinook. During World War II they lived in Wyoming and Baltimore, Maryland, then returned to Chinook to raisw their family. Anna enjoyed gardening, reading and she was a active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by one daughter, Anna Doherty og Great Falls; two sons, Gene Miller of Great Falls and Bill Miller of Bellingham, WA; one sister, Margaret Simpson of Chinook; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son; and her husband in 1974.

CHINOOK - Anna M. Miller, 81, formerly of Chinook, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, in Great Falls due to natural causes.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.

Anna was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Husum, Germany, to Frank and Elly (Mahns) Groneberg, She came with her parents to the United States in 1923. She attended schools south of Chinook and was a waitress in the local restaurants.
