AGNES M. CLARK

  Agnes M. Clark, 92, of Havre and Kremlin areas, died Saturday morning, Dec.

21, 1996, in the lomgtime care unit of Northern Montana Hospital in Havre where

she had lived for the past three years.

  Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at the First

Luthean Church in Havre with Rev. Walt Kirkegaard officiating. Internment of

the ashes will be in Highland Cemetery.

  She was born in Erhard, Minn., in October of 1904 the daughter of Charles and

Mary Anderson. She started school in Erhard where Norwegian was taught and got

her first introduction to English at the  Havre schools.

  She moved to Montana with her family in 1917, living first in Zurich and then

settled just north of Havre in 1918.

  She worked in a delicatessen shop in Havre for a time and eventually

purchased the shop and operated it during the 1920s.

  She was married in Havre on Nov. 28, 1928 to Wade H. Clark of Kremlin and for

the next 34 years they lived on their ranch/farm north of Kremlin.

  They sold their property in 1962 and retired to Havre where they lived since.

Wade died on Jan. 11, 1992.

  They enjoyed traveling, fly fishing and bowling.

  She was a long-time member of the First Lutheran Church of Havre.

  They observed their golden anniversary in 1978.

  She is survived by three sisters, Tillie  McIntyre of Havre, Dorothy

Christensen of Tacoma, Wash., and Gladys Converse, Tacoma, Wash.; and many

nephews and nieces.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Charles and Palmer

Anderson, two sisters, Kathleen Curtis and Claire Neal.

  Memorials in her honor may be made in the First Lutheran Church, Gift of Life

or donor's choice.

  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Agnes M. Clark

  Havre - Agnes M. (Anderson) Clark, 92, a retired ranch homeaker, died of

natural causes Saturday at a Havre hospital.

  Her funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Havre, with burial

of ashes in Highland Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home is in charge of

arrangements. Memorials are sugested to First Lutheran Church or the Gift of

Life.

  She was born in Oct. 1904 in Erhard, Minn., and moved to Montana in 1917.

  She moved to Montana with her family in 1917, living first in Zurich and then

settled just north of Havre in 1918.

  She worked in a delicatessen shop in Havre for a time and eventually

purchased the shop and operated it during the 1920s.

  In 1928 she married Wade H. Clark and they ranched north of Kremlin for 34

years. They retired to Havre in 1962.

  She enjoyed traveling, fly-fishing and bowling.

  Survivors include three sisters, Tillie McIntyre of Havre, and Grdys Converse

and Dorothy Christensen of Tacoma, Wash.
